St Peter, Widmerpool - A Church Near You

Welcome to St Peter, Widmerpool June 2022 -- Churches open as usual All our services are now inside church, and we are still keeping some Covid-19 protocols, in order to better protect the more vulnerable amongst us who come. Most people are no longer wearing facemasks, however, you are welcome to wear one if you wish to. People have told us that they enjoyed the outdoor services that we held last summer and autumn, and we may choose to hold some of our services outside in August and September. Watch this space! National guidance from the Church of England allows us to return to receiving Holy Communion in both bread and wine, once agreed by the incumbent and PCC (at the moment, only the presiding priest receives the wine on behalf of all). We have decided here for all three of our churches to wait until the infection rates for COVID drop below 1 in 100, though we will keep this policy under review.
