This small church was built in the 1830s by Sir Charles Forbes and is aligned north-south in small fenced grounds. There is no graveyard around the church. There is woodland to the east and west, and scrubby grassland alongside the church grounds. The church was, until recently, part of the large Upper Donside parish but closed in 2005. It is likely the church building will be sold and much of the interior fittings removed.
