Description

Cluny Parish Church - Cluny, Grampian - Places of Worship in Scotland | SCHR

Cluny Parish Church stands on a small knoll a short distance from the original church and graveyard. The area around the church is mostly grass with a large war memorial to the south. There are two fairly modern graveyard extensions to the east and north, which border the old graveyard. The location is a rural one, with open farmland and mixed woodland in the immediate area around Cluny. The church was built at the end of the 18th century to replace the earlier church and to accomodate a growing rural population in the parish.

. Scottish Church Heritage Research Ltd (SCHR) maintains a database of over 10000 places of worship in Scotland.
